Emergency incidents reported across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
Various emergency incidents have been reported across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
In Germany, a VW T5 transporter crashed on the L 3296 near Bad Wildungen, damaging trees and guardrails; the driver and vehicle have since disappeared from the scene. In Karlsruhe, a fire in a downtown parking garage destroyed two vehicles and damaged a third. Investigators have found no current evidence of arson.
In Switzerland, a 59-year-old man sustained severe burns following a garage explosion in Kerzers. Additionally, a scooter accident in Embrach resulted in serious injuries to both the driver and the passenger after the vehicle struck a tree.
In Austria, a 37-year-old operator was rescued by emergency services in Oberdorf after a 3.5-ton excavator overturned during work on a retaining wall, trapping his leg under the machine.
