Kesha expands fan‑tooth jewelry collection, invites fans to send teeth

Pop singer Kesha discussed her ongoing collection of human teeth on a recent episode of the Las Culturistas podcast. She said she asks fans to send teeth so she can create jewelry, noting that the project "kind of freaks out straight men."

She has already fashioned a necklace, earrings, a belt and a crown from the teeth, and keeps the specimens in small jars around her home. The idea dates back to 2011, when she first solicited teeth via Twitter, and she previously attempted to donate a tooth to a treatment center, which declined entry of human remains for bio‑hazard reasons.
