Keshert Cave: 16-year-old dies in fatal spelunking fall

A 16-year-old boy died following a fall during a spelunking activity at Keshert Cave in the Western Galilee. Initial reports indicate the teenager fell from a height of approximately 30 to 40 meters.

Emergency responders, including police from Nahariya, Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics, and specialized rescue units from the Fire and Rescue Services, were dispatched to the scene. Due to the complex terrain, rescue teams had to descend into the cave using ropes to reach the victim. Despite advanced medical intervention and attempts at resuscitation, paramedics confirmed the teenager was deceased at the scene, noting he was found without a pulse or breathing and had sustained severe injuries.
