Kessben Group CEO Kwabena Kesse dies at 68

Stephen Kwabena Boateng, popularly known as Kwabena Kesse, the CEO of the Kessben Group, has died at the age of 68 following an illness.

Based in Kumasi, Kesse was a prominent entrepreneur who managed a diverse conglomerate for over 30 years. The Kessben Group includes various interests such as Kessben Travel and Tours, Kessben University College, Kessben FM Limited, and several media outlets including Kessben TV and Aseda TV. He also held majority shares in Multi Credit Savings and Loans Ltd.

Beyond his business ventures, Kesse was recognized for his philanthropic work and served on the National Peace Council from 2004 to 2010. Kumasi Mayor Richard Ofori Agyemang-Boadi paid tribute to him, describing the businessman as a “father figure.” Funeral arrangements and the specific cause of death have not yet been announced.
