Kestel Municipality and Bursa Uludağ University launch vocational training protocol

Kestel Municipality in Bursa signed a protocol with Bursa Uludağ University’s Technical Sciences Vocational School, specifically the Landscape and Ornamental Plants program. The agreement creates a 3+1 "İşletmede Mesleki Eğitim" model, allowing students to spend one practical semester working in the municipality’s Park and Gardens Department and related units.

Under the arrangement, students will apply classroom theory to real‑world tasks such as landscape design, green‑area planning, plant cultivation and environmental maintenance. Mayor Ferhat Erol highlighted the partnership as a way to support youth education and give future professionals hands‑on experience before graduation.
