Kestel Municipality launches winter sports schools

Kestel Municipality has commenced a new term for its Winter Sports Schools, aimed at supporting the physical and social development of children. The program offers training in nine different branches across three facilities.

At the 15 Temmuz Şehitleri Indoor Sports Hall, children can participate in basketball, volleyball, and gymnastics. The 360 Genç Yaşam Merkezi provides instruction in folk dances, karate, traditional Turkish archery, movement training for special needs children, and kickboxing. Wrestling training is conducted at the Mandıras Facilities.

Mayor Ferhat Erol stated that the initiative seeks to help children grow into healthy, confident, and successful individuals by discovering their talents through sports. The program emphasizes values such as discipline, solidarity, and team spirit.
