Ketchup Entertainment acquires U.S. rights to Norwegian film ViQueens

Ketchup Entertainment has acquired the United States distribution rights for ViQueens, a computer-generated animated feature film directed by Harald Zwart. The film follows two Viking girls, Ingrid and Hedvig, on a journey from Norway through the Silk Road to return a stowaway boy to China.

Directed by Zwart, known for The Karate Kid and The 12th Man, the project is produced by Veslemøy Ruud Zwart of Zwart Arbeid. The film features an international voice cast including Ella Purnell and Rita Ora, with an original score by Christophe Beck.

The acquisition comes amid a period of growth for Ketchup Entertainment, which recently secured the rights to Coyote vs. Acme and has seen significant box office momentum. The U.S. promotional campaign for ViQueens is set to begin with a teaser appearing in theaters alongside the current release of Coyote vs. Acme.
