Ketsch police seek driver after Mercedes-AMG crash and flight

A driver is being sought by police following a hit-and-run accident in Ketsch on Saturday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 09:06 on Speyerer Straße near the entrance to the town.

A Mercedes-AMG G63 lost control in a long curve, striking a lamp post and a guardrail before overturning on the roadway. Three occupants—two men and one woman—sustained minor injuries and received on-site medical treatment. The driver allegedly fled the scene without authorization.

Total damages are estimated at 70,000 euros for the vehicle and 2,000 euros for traffic infrastructure. Authorities are requesting that anyone with information contact the Schwetzingen police station.
