Ketty Garat publishes investigation into Spanish political power networks

Journalist Ketty Garat has released a new book titled ‘Todos los hombres de Sánchez’ (All of Sánchez’s Men), which investigates power networks and corruption within the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE).

The work claims to reconstruct a web of loyalties and ambitions used to consolidate power over the last several years. Garat asserts that the current government utilized figures such as José Luis Ábalos to manage damage control regarding corruption schemes. The investigation suggests that Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez was aware of these internal developments and that many of his public explanations have been inaccurate.

The book covers various high-profile cases involving party members and examines the alleged use of ‘lawfare’ narratives to discredit judges, prosecutors, and police officers during investigations.
