Venezuelan contestant Kevin Díaz suffered a fall of roughly eight metres during a high‑altitude challenge on the Peruvian reality competition "Esto es Guerra". He was immediately taken to a clinic where doctors reported no fractures but placed him in a cervical collar and inserted an IV line for medication. The production team described the episode as an "incident" rather than an accident.

Host Mathías Brivio later announced that Díaz had been discharged and was recovering at home. Model and teammate Onelia Molina expressed relief, saying she was monitoring his condition and that he was in stable condition.
