Kevin Diks named vice-captain at Borussia Mönchengladbach

Indonesian national team player Kevin Diks has been appointed as the vice-captain of the German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach for the 2026/2027 season. The appointment follows the departure of Nico Elvedi to Leeds United. Diks, who joined the club from FC Copenhagen in July 2025, became the club's first Indonesian captain during a German Cup first-round match against TSV Schott Mainz, as the primary captain, Tim Kleindienst, did not start. Mönchengladbach won the match 5-0.
