Kevin Durant has expressed emotional reflections regarding the retirement of his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate, Russell Westbrook. Durant noted that seeing a peer he grew up with in the NBA step away from the game was a significant moment, stating, “It just hit me, man, ’cause it’s just like that’s one of the first dudes you come in with and you was around every day to finally step out of this s***.”
