Kevin Federline sued by City National Bank over $117,000 debt
Kevin Federline, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, is facing a lawsuit from City National Bank for owing at least $117,704. The debt reportedly stems from a credit card, a personal line of credit, and a personal overdraft line.
Court documents indicate that Federline opened these accounts in late November 2024, coinciding with the end of child support payments from Spears following their youngest son, Jayden James, graduating from high school. The bank is seeking the principal amount along with unpaid interest rates ranging from 7.5 percent to 20.5 percent.
This follows a previous legal issue in March, where Bank of America filed a lawsuit against Federline for approximately $12,000 in unpaid debts, which was reportedly later resolved. In his memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” Federline noted that the high costs of maintaining security and a specific lifestyle for his children meant that child support payments often vanished as soon as they were received.
