Kevin Fiala resumes skating amid NHL injury updates

Los Angeles Kings forward Kevin Fiala has resumed skating following a recovery process for multiple leg fractures sustained during the 2026 Winter Olympics. While a follow-up surgery recently delayed his return, Fiala is currently progressing through individual skating sessions. If he avoids further setbacks, he is projected to resume NHL action around November 1st.

Other Western Conference injury updates include Chicago Blackhawks winger Andrew Mangiapane, who is expected to miss several weeks due to a lower-body injury sustained during the season opener. Additionally, the Minnesota Wild may be without forward Danila Yurov for their upcoming game against the Buffalo Sabres after he was removed from practice as a precaution.
