Kevin Klimas reports Bigfoot sighting in Connecticut woods

Kevin Klimas, a father from Rhode Island, said he encountered a large, hairy, bipedal creature while driving home from a cabin in Voluntown, Connecticut, after the Fourth of July weekend. He described the being as about 8.5 feet tall, covered in matted brown hair, walking upright on two legs, with a cone‑shaped head, short arms reaching past the knees, and no visible breasts or genitalia. Klimas estimated an 8‑ to 9‑foot wingspan when the creature’s arms were outstretched.

He reported the encounter to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, which classified the report as a “Class A” sighting, indicating the group believes the witness actually saw the legendary creature. The organization noted the creature was not a bear and that the sighting matched previous Bigfoot descriptions.

Both articles report the same details of Klimas’s claim and the organization’s assessment.
