Kevin Knight discusses AEW career and wrestling influences

Professional wrestler Kevin Knight, known as ‘The Jet’, has discussed the influences and experiences shaping his career in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Knight credited his time with New Japan Pro Wrestling for sharpening his technical fundamentals, noting that the Japanese approach treats wrestling with the discipline of a real sport.

Knight highlighted his tenure as the AEW TNT Champion as a pivotal moment of validation from AEW CEO Tony Khan. During his reign, which lasted approximately 140 days, he defeated several former world champions, including MJF, Chris Jericho, and Darby Allin.

Regarding his in-ring style, Knight described it as a combination of various influences, citing veterans such as Mr. Perfect, The Rock, and Jeff Hardy. He also mentioned incorporating elements from athletes like Deion Sanders and Cam Newton into his promotional work.
