Kevin Kokila to miss Supercoppa due to injury

Virtus Bologna center Kevin Kokila has sustained a first-degree muscle injury to his right biceps femoris during training. The French player, who holds Angolan citizenship, is expected to be sidelined for approximately four weeks.

As a result of the injury, Kokila will miss the team's entire preseason preparation and the upcoming Supercoppa, which is scheduled to take place in Tortona on September 19 and 20. The tournament will feature a semifinal match between Virtus Bologna and Olimpia Milano.

Head coach Alex Mumbrù will have to rely on Momo Diouf and Aliou Diarra to manage the center position during Kokila's absence. The player is expected to make his debut for the team in early October once he has completed a gradual return to training.
