Kevin Love reportedly open to Minnesota Timberwolves return

Kevin Love may potentially return to the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to reports from NBA insider Jon Krawczynski. Both the veteran player and the franchise reportedly have mutual interest in a reunion.

Love began his NBA career in Minnesota in 2008, where he spent six seasons and earned three All-Star selections before being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014. The Timberwolves are currently seeking veteran leadership following the departures of experienced players such as Mike Conley, Kyle Anderson, and Joe Ingles.

Love, who is 37, averaged 6.7 points and 5.8 rebounds in 37 games with the Utah Jazz last season. While he has been linked to other teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, the Timberwolves may have roster space to accommodate him following the signing of Jonathan Kuminga.
