Kevin McHale denounces Glee “curse” conspiracy theories

Former Glee actor Kevin McHale used his X account to condemn online conspiracy theories that portray the deaths of the show’s cast members as a “curse” or a “sacrifice.” He called the speculation “diabolical” and “completely lacking humanity,” urging fans to stop spreading such narratives.

McHale referenced the premature deaths of Cory Monteith (overdose, 2013), Mark Salling (suicide, 2018) and Naya Rivera (drowning, 2020). In the same discussion, series creator Ryan Murphy said he still loves the show and has considered a possible revival for a new generation.
