Kevin Morby releases new single ‘PBJ’

American musician Kevin Morby has released a new single titled ‘PBJ’, a track from his recent album ‘Little Wide Open’. The song is described as a lighthearted, carefree track inspired by a phrase a friend used to describe driving with the windows down and the air conditioning on.

The single features musical contributions from Justin Vernon of Bon Iver on guitar, Aaron Dessner of The National on bass, and Andrew Barr of Feist on drums. The accompanying music video stars Morby’s partner, Waxahatchee (Katie Crutchfield).

To celebrate the release, Morby has engaged in a marketing campaign involving various food businesses across the United States. Collaborations include a ‘PBJ’ ice cream flavor from Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, custom items from Turkey And The Wolf in New Orleans, and various themed snacks and drinks from bakeries and cafes in cities such as Los Angeles, New York City, Memphis, Durham, and Kansas City.
