In a separate address from the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the nation regarding India’s sporting ambitions. He reiterated the country’s goal to host the 2036 Olympics and announced a nationwide talent hunt aimed at identifying sporting talent in children aged five to 15 years.
