Kevin Pollak recalls working with Rip Torn

Actor Kevin Pollak recently shared anecdotes regarding his experience working with the late Rip Torn on the set of the 1995 film ‘Canadian Bacon’. During an appearance on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’, Pollak identified Torn as the most unpredictable actor he has worked with.

Pollak noted that Torn frequently expressed paranoia, claiming that various cast and crew members were conspiring against him. Additionally, Torn repeatedly asserted that he had been included on former President Richard Nixon’s enemies list, though Pollak noted that no one felt comfortable asking for the specific reasons behind such a claim.

Pollak also recounted a story involving fellow actor Kevin O’Connor, who reportedly overheard Torn shouting through hotel walls during their stay in Toronto.
