Kevin Rideout meets President Trump at White House after Niger captivity
American missionary pilot Kevin Rideout and his family met with President Donald Trump at the White House following his release from captivity. Rideout had been held hostage by ISIS jihadists in Niger for ten months.
During the visit to the Oval Office, the President introduced the family to the administration’s hostage recovery team. Trump emphasized his ‘America First’ policy, stating that his administration ensures no Americans are left behind, contrasting his approach with previous Democratic administrations.
In a statement released through Serving In Mission (SIM), Kevin and his wife, Krista, expressed profound gratitude to the U.S. government, the recovery teams, and the global Christian community for their prayers and support during their period of separation.
