Kevin Wade responds to Bill O’Reilly regarding ‘Boston Blue’

O’Reilly characterized ‘Boston Blue’ as a ‘woke’ replacement for ‘Blue Bloods’, noting the new series features a more diverse cast compared to the predominantly white, Irish Catholic ensemble of the original show.

Wade declined to condemn the spinoff, stating that he supports any production that provides employment for actors and crew members. He also noted that while ‘Blue Bloods’ was often perceived as right-leaning due to its focus on a family of Brooklyn police officers, he does not believe there was a specific political agenda behind the series.
