Kewan Lacy expected to return for Ole Miss against Vanderbilt

Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy is expected to return to the lineup for the upcoming game against Vanderbilt following a shoulder injury. Head coach Pete Golding stated on Monday that while Lacy is anticipated to play, he will not carry a full workload and will be part of a rotation to manage his health.

Lacy sustained a left shoulder injury during the game against LSU on September 19, which caused him to miss the subsequent matchup against Florida. After spending the team's bye week resting and undergoing rehabilitation, Lacy returned to practice on Sunday night with non-contact individual and team sessions.

To support Lacy's return, the Rebels will utilize transfers JT Lindsey and Makhi Frazier. Both players have shared rushing duties during Lacy's absence, providing depth to the backfield as the team manages the star player's snap count.
