Kewon White claims responsibility for shooting Boosie BadAzz

Kewon White, recently convicted of the 2020 capital murder of rapper Mo3 (Melvin Noble) in Dallas, has claimed in a resurfaced interview that he was also responsible for shooting rapper Boosie BadAzz.

White, who was sentenced to life in prison without parole, stated that he fired approximately 10 shots at Boosie in November 2020. He claimed the attack was a response to Boosie’s presence in Dallas following Mo3’s death, which White characterized as an attempt to act like a ‘big dog.’ While White’s claim regarding Boosie was not part of his murder conviction, police records from 2020 confirm Boosie was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg in Dallas shortly after attending a vigil for Mo3.

White is currently in the process of appealing his life sentence. Prosecutors in the Mo3 case have alleged that Yella Beezy paid White to carry out the killing; Beezy’s trial is scheduled to begin next month.
