KEY TO LIT announces surprise CD debut this winter

The five-member idol group KEY TO LIT, managed by STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, has announced their official CD debut with Universal Music scheduled for this winter. The announcement was made as a surprise during a fan club event held at Zojoji Temple in Tokyo on August 17.

During the event, which was originally framed as a music video recording session, the group members were unaware of the upcoming debut. The announcement was revealed via projection mapping at the temple, leading to emotional reactions from both the performers and the audience. Following the reveal, the group performed their new song, ‘KEY 2 LIGHT’, which serves as the theme song for a TV Tokyo table tennis program.

The group consists of members Mizuki Inoue, Taisho Iwasaki, Reia Nakamura, Taiko Sasaki, and Soya Igari. They are currently conducting their ‘KEY TO LIT Arena Tour 2026 NEO CLASSICS’ across five cities in Japan.
