Keychron launches C100 8K macro pad with 100 keys

Keychron has launched the C100 8K, a large-scale mechanical macro pad featuring a 10-by-10 key layout. While the device contains 100 keys in total, the four corner keys are dedicated to RGB lighting control, leaving 96 keys available for custom macros, shortcuts, or specific commands.

The device utilizes pre-lubricated Keychron Apex Red linear switches and transparent ASA keycaps to enhance per-key RGB visibility. It features a hot-swappable PCB, allowing users to change switches without soldering. Customization is managed through the web-based Keychron QMK launcher, which eliminates the need for dedicated desktop software.

Technical specifications include an 8,000 Hz polling rate and over 22 RGB backlight settings. The macro pad is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems and is priced at $64.99.
