Keychron Nape Pro trackball mouse enters retail market in Japan
Keychron and Gizmodo Japan have launched the Keychron Nape Pro, a specialized trackball mouse now available for retail sale in Japan. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, the device began appearing in electronics stores, including Bic Camera in Yurakucho, on August 28.
The Nape Pro features a unique design that allows for both vertical and horizontal orientation. It is equipped with a 25mm trackball and six customizable buttons. Users can manage button assignments via a web browser, with settings being stored directly on the device hardware for portability across different systems.
Technical specifications include triple-mode connectivity via USB Type-C, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz wireless (with a receiver included). The device is powered by a 200mAh battery, offering up to 50 hours of use. The retail price is set at 12,650 yen.
