Keychron rolls out premium Q1 Ultra 8K keyboard and expands Hall‑Effect lineup

Keychron has broadened its high‑end mechanical keyboard portfolio with several models featuring Hall‑Effect magnetic switches and multi‑device Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The K10 HE and K2 HE keyboards offer full‑size and 75% layouts, customizable actuation ranges from 0.2 mm to 3.8 mm, RGB backlighting and hot‑swappable Gateron switches. Other entries such as the K3 ultra‑slim, C2 budget full‑size and B6 Pro wireless full‑size target different user needs, from portability to battery life.

The flagship Q1 Ultra 8K, priced at $229.99 in the United States, uses a CNC‑machined aluminum chassis, double‑shot PBT keycaps and offers an 8,000 Hz polling rate aimed at ultra‑low latency. Reviewers note the 8K rate is a gimmick for most users, and the nearly 2 kg weight makes the keyboard unsuitable for travel. The Q1 Ultra 8K is currently available only in the US, with UK and Australian customers directed to the slightly cheaper Q1 Max variant.
