Keyfactor Acquires Cofide While Fastly Partners with Experian to Secure AI Agents

Keyfactor, a leader in trust infrastructure for AI and machines, announced its intent to acquire UK‑based Cofide. The acquisition will extend Keyfactor’s Trust Control Plane to cloud workloads and AI agents, giving security teams a unified system to manage non‑human identities. Cofide’s platform provides each AI agent and workload with a unique, short‑lived verified identity, addressing the growing gap between automated systems and traditional credential security. CEO Jordan Rackie said the move “strengthens our vision for the Trust Control Plane by extending trusted identity beyond traditional systems.”

Separately, Fastly joined Experian’s Agent Trust ecosystem, enabling identity and authorization decisions for AI agents to be made at the network edge. The partnership allows enterprises to verify AI agents, evaluate trust signals and authorize transactions before requests reach origin servers, supporting differential pricing and real‑time policy enforcement. Experian highlighted that the integration helps businesses manage AI‑driven traffic, which now accounts for the majority of web requests.
