KFC and Czech Floorball distribute 300 upcycled training sets

KFC and Czech Floorball have launched an initiative to provide 300 training sets to floorball clubs in lower and regional leagues. The equipment is created through the upcycling of 950 square meters of retired PVC advertising banners.

Each training set consists of a floorball goal sheet, an athletic ladder, and a ball bag. The production process involves the Czech brand Arlen, which specializes in material upcycling, and Kabinet CB, a reuse center and environmental social enterprise based in České Budějovice that employs people with special needs.

The recipient teams were selected based on the results of the KFCient project, a system launched in 2024 that tracks player performance, including goals, assists, and regular participation. The initiative aims to support amateur and regional floorball while promoting sustainability by repurposing durable, waterproof advertising materials.
