KFC Japan launches first limited-time original chicken specialty shop

Model and television personality Shiori Sato attended the opening ceremony for ‘Meister’s Kitchen’, Japan KFC’s first limited-time original chicken specialty shop. As a brand ambassador, Sato visited the Takadanobaba location to experience the cooking process firsthand.

Under the guidance of Kazuki Kasahara, the only individual in Japan holding the title of ‘Chicken Meister’, Sato attempted to prepare the brand’s signature original chicken. The process included applying the secret blend of 11 herbs and spices and coating the chicken in batter. Following the demonstration, Kasahara praised Sato’s enthusiasm, jokingly suggesting she should work at the restaurant immediately, to which she lightheartedly declined, stating she would rather visit as a customer.

This event is part of a series of initiatives by KFC Japan running from June to September to celebrate the birth month of founder Colonel Sanders. The specialty shop event is scheduled to take place at the Takadanobaba store from September 11 to 13.
