KFC Uerdingen and Rot‑Weiss Essen announce pre‑season plans and 2023‑24 fixtures

KFC Uerdingen has published its preparation schedule for the upcoming season, beginning with a test match against VfB Uerdingen (7‑1) and VfB Speldorf (2‑1). The club will host SV Bergisch Gladbach on 10 June, play SV Budberg on 12 July, DSC Wanne‑Eickel on 18 July, and face Bonner SC on 26 July. Delay Sports Berlin is slated for a home match on 1 August, followed by a season‑opening game against SpVgg Erkenschwick on 2 August. Rot‑Weiss Essen’s 3. Liga schedule was released on 8 June, showing the club will open the season away at 1. FC Saarbrücken on 7 August. The first home game will be against TSV Havelse, with a derby versus MSV Duisburg on matchday 17. The squad will train in Bad Griesbach until 17 July. In the DFB‑Pokal, Essen will host Bundesliga‑relegated St. Pauli on 23 August.
