KG Mobility reports August sales of 6,860 units amid domestic decline
KG Mobility reported total sales of 6,860 units in August, consisting of 2,300 domestic sales and 4,560 exports. This represents a 22.6% decrease in total sales compared to the same month last year, driven largely by a 43.3% drop in domestic demand.
To offset declining domestic sales, the company is focusing on international expansion. Exports have shown growth, particularly in markets such as Turkey and Hungary. KG Mobility has officially launched its brand in Myanmar, introducing electric vehicle models including the Torres EVX and Musso EV to capture emerging market interest.
Future strategies include expanding Knock-Down (KD) business operations in Saudi Arabia and Vietnam. Domestically, the company aims to strengthen brand engagement through participation in events like EV Trend Korea 2026 and sponsoring the KG Ladies Open. Having concluded wage and collective bargaining agreements early, the company intends to focus on production stability and efficiency to support global and domestic market responses.
