KG Mobility seals 2026 wage deal, marks 17 years of strike‑free record
KG Mobility (KGM) announced that its 2026 wage and collective bargaining agreement has been finalized following an 18‑round negotiation process that began in June. A vote by union members approved the provisional agreement, which includes a base‑salary increase of 75,000 won and productivity incentives totaling 360,000 won per worker.
The deal extends KGM’s uninterrupted stretch of labor peace to 17 years, the longest period without a strike since 2010. Company officials said the agreement will support stable production, new‑business initiatives and a push into global markets, with an emphasis on expanding sales and improving profitability in the second half of the year.
