KG Mobility to supply Musso EVs to Paraguay via ODA project

KG Mobility (KGM) will supply 20 units of the Musso EV to Paraguay as part of an Official Development Assistance (ODA) project led by South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

A delegation from Paraguay's Ministry of Industry, including the Vice Minister, recently visited KGM's Pyeongtaek plant to discuss technical cooperation and observe production lines. The ODA initiative includes the establishment of an automotive parts TASK center in Paraguay. Supported by the Korea Automotive Technology Institute, the project also involves the pilot distribution of electric buses and small electric trucks, the installation of charging stations, and the creation of after-sales service centers.

Paraguay plans to utilize the supplied Musso EVs for passenger and freight transport within government agencies to help establish a local electric vehicle ecosystem. KGM noted that Paraguay represents a high-potential market for eco-friendly vehicles due to its abundant hydroelectric power from the Itaipu Dam.
