KGHM sponsors Polish tennis star Kamil Majchrzak for Wimbledon and US Open

KGHM Polska Miedź, a global copper and silver producer operating on three continents, has entered a sponsorship partnership with ATP player Kamil Majchrzak. The 47‑ranked Polish tennis professional will receive KGHM support for his participation in the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open, two of the sport's most prestigious tournaments.

KGHM CEO Remigiusz Paszkiewicz said the deal aims to boost the company's international brand visibility through sport, noting that tennis attracts a worldwide audience. Majchrzak welcomed the backing, stating he feels ready to compete at the highest level and that stable sponsorship allows him to focus on preparation. The player’s résumé includes a gold medal at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games, a junior US Open doubles title in 2013, and an ATP 250 tournament win in ’s‑Hertogenbosch in 2026. The partnership is part of KGHM’s broader strategy to promote Polish sport and expand its global presence.
