KGM launches two-seat Musso Commercial pick-ups in the UK

KGM Motors UK has launched a new two-seat Musso Commercial pick-up range, including Rebel and Saracen variants, specifically designed to address changes in UK vehicle taxation. The new models replace rear passenger seating with a dedicated, secure cargo area featuring a full-height fixed mesh bulkhead, heavy-duty rubber flooring, and rear window security mesh.

The launch responds to April 2025 tax rule changes by HM Revenue & Customs, which transitioned most conventional double-cab pick-ups into car-based tax treatments for Benefit-in-Kind and capital allowances. By utilizing this two-seat configuration, businesses may retain commercial vehicle tax treatment, including eligibility for a 100% capital allowances write-down.

Technical specifications for the Musso Commercial include a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 202PS and 441Nm of torque, alongside a four-wheel-drive system. The vehicle offers a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes and a payload of up to 1,205 kg. Prices for the new range start at £33,980 excluding VAT.
