Khairul Aming addresses scalper issue involving Sambal Nyet Bilis

Entrepreneur Khairul Aming has addressed allegations regarding scalpers reselling his Sambal Nyet Bilis product at inflated prices, with some reports claiming bottles are being sold for RM25.

Responding to inquiries on Threads, Aming stated that he cannot control the actions of buyers once a product has been purchased. He emphasized that while his team works hard to serve customers, they lack authority over secondary market transactions. He also noted that the accusations implied he was intentionally allowing the price hikes.

The controversy follows high demand for the product, which sold out in less than two minutes on TikTok. A subsequent restock of 150,000 bottles on Shopee also sold out within minutes.
