Khairul Aming launches new sambal from Merdeka 118

Malaysian entrepreneur and content creator Khairul Aming, known online as KA, announced the launch of his fourth product, Sambal Nyet Bilis, from the summit of Merdeka 118 – the second‑tallest building in the world. The launch will be streamed live and is themed around Malaysia’s independence, honoring the nation’s freedom fighters.

Aming began six years ago selling his first sambal bottles from a small roadside shop. He says the new product reflects years of growth and he hopes the high‑profile event will inspire young Malaysians to pursue big dreams. Preparations included visits to local fishermen in Setiu, Terengganu, and chili farms in Banting, Selangor, to source fresh anchovies and chilies for the sambal.
