Khaled Khalaf Qabisi appointed deputy education minister for Egypt's Dakahlia

Dr. Khaled Khalaf Qabisi has been appointed as the deputy minister of education for the Dakahlia governorate in Egypt. The appointment was announced by Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif as part of a broader reshuffle aimed at improving administrative performance within the ministry.

Qabisi brings extensive experience, having previously served as deputy education minister in the governorates of Faiyum, Aswan, Ismailia and as director of the General Quality Administration at the Ministry. He holds a B.S. in Social Work (1992), an M.Sc. in Educational Psychology (2000) and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (2005). His record includes leading quality‑enhancement initiatives, overseeing exam preparations, and promoting school discipline and service improvements.

The new posting is presented as a return to his home region, with expectations that his academic background and field‑based management style will support the ministry’s vision for educational development and the Sustainable Development Goal 2030 agenda in Dakahlia.
