Khalifa film Prithviraj revenge thriller character reveal Indian cinema

The production team behind the upcoming revenge thriller ‘Khalifa’, directed by Vysakh and starring Prithviraj, has released new character details for the film.

Actor Shine Varghese will portray a character named Sudhip, while Shammi Thilakan has been cast as Raghavan. Other confirmed characters include Noorjahan, played by Mohini; Vyshanavi, played by Kyraa Vasudevan; Rushin, played by Master Nafash; and the lead character, Aamir Ali, played by Prithviraj.

The film’s plot reportedly involves a multi-million dollar gold smuggling racket spanning the Middle East, London, Nepal, and Kerala. Filming concluded in June after sequences were shot in Dubai. ‘Khalifa’ is scheduled for theatrical release on August 20, 2026.
