Khalifa Fund showcases 13 Emirati SMEs at Liwa Date Festival

The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development participated in the 22nd Liwa Date Festival, held from 14 to 23 July 2026 in Liwa, Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi. The Fund’s pavilion displayed 13 Emirati small and medium‑sized enterprises from sectors such as artificial‑intelligence (Nuwa Hub), green nanotechnology (NEXBA Healthcare Supplies), fashion (KWACHI Fashion), heritage design (MZS Heritage Designs), food and beverage (Maison Aliza, Saraya Al Dhafra, Gentle Bite, H Almughairah Bakery, AYA Café), retail (MSYAN), perfume (Unique Signature), photography (ABK Photography) and textiles (Maiza Textile). The exhibition aimed to give the companies exposure to visitors, potential partners and broader markets, complemented by the Fund’s financing, advisory and capacity‑building services.

The festival, organised by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, also featured 23 competition categories with 295 prizes worth about 8 million dirhams, promoting food security, agricultural heritage and economic activity in the region. By linking traditional Emirati culture with modern entrepreneurship, the event supports diversification and resilience of the national economy.
