Khalin Joshi Secures Dominant Victory at J&K Open

Khalin Joshi, a 33‑year‑old golfer from Bengaluru, won the 2026 J&K Open at the Royal Springs Golf Course in Srinagar with a nine‑shot lead. He posted a total of 24‑under 260, including a final‑round 66, to claim his eighth professional title and his second win of the DP World PGTI season. Joshi collected a winner’s cheque of INR 15 lakh, lifted his season earnings to INR 34,85,575 and moved from 13th to 8th in the DP World PGTI rankings.

Delhi’s Rashid Khan finished runner‑up at 15‑under 269, while Shubham Jaglan took third place at 14‑under 270. Joshi said he felt nervous after missing the opening fairway but steadied his play with birdies on the third and fourth holes. The victory followed his four‑shot win at the Andhra Open in April and marked his fourth visit to Jammu and Kashmir, where he praised the course’s scenery.

The tournament, sponsored with a prize fund of INR 1 crore, highlighted Joshi’s consistent performance on the domestic circuit, including a stretch of 55 consecutive bogey‑free holes and three straight bogey‑free rounds.
