Khambray Antoine Holloway convicted of $4.8M real estate fraud

Khambray Antoine Holloway, 34, of Oxnard has been convicted of filing a false or forged document in an attempt to steal a $4.8 million home in the Oxnard Shores neighborhood.

In July 2025, Holloway filed a fake notarized grant deed with the Ventura County Recorder's Office to claim ownership of the property, which was legally held by a limited liability company. Investigators identified irregularities in the filing, including the lack of a signature from an authorized grantor. The legitimate owners confirmed they had not authorized any transfer of the property.

Following the fraudulent filing, Holloway attempted to have locksmiths change the locks at the residence by presenting the forged documents as proof of ownership. Holloway was remanded into custody following the guilty verdict, with bail set at $20,000. He is scheduled for a sentencing hearing on October 28, 2026.
