Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev win at RAF 13 in Miami

At the RAF 13 event in Miami, Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev both secured dominant victories. Covington successfully defended his RAF crossover cruiserweight championship by defeating Belal Muhammad via a 10-0 technical fall. The match, which took place at the Watsco Center, saw Covington control the wrestling exchanges and capitalize on Muhammad's inactivity to secure the win.

In the co-main event, Khamzat Chimaev defeated Gilbert Burns via technical fall with a score of 13-4 (or 15-4 according to some reports). Following his victory, Chimaev expressed interest in a future matchup against Covington. Covington also signaled his openness to a fight with Chimaev or a trilogy bout against Kamaru Usman.

Despite the recent success, Chimaev noted that he may require a brief one-to-two-month break from sparring to address recurring hand and knee injuries caused by his punching power. He remains focused on returning to competition and potentially challenging for the UFC middleweight title in the future.
