Khanfar District authorities restore operations at Habil Barq Batis gas station

Authorities in the Khanfar District of Abyan have overseen the resumption of operations at the Habil Barq Batis gas station. The facility had been non-operational since Thursday following a gathering of citizens that prevented staff from performing their duties.

To resolve the situation, the Director General of Khanfar, Mazen Balail Al-Yousifi, and the advisor to the Governor of Abyan, Yasser Abbad Al-Marqashi, visited the site to address existing issues and provided a security force to protect the station. This intervention allowed workers to resume their tasks and restored gas distribution according to the established schedule.

Local authorities have urged citizens to avoid gathering at major gas stations and to follow the official distribution mechanism through authorized agents in their respective residential areas to ensure regular access and prevent congestion.
