Khanh Hoa faces challenges resolving Phuc Son Group BT projects

Following the legal proceedings involving Phuc Son Group, Khanh Hoa province faces significant challenges regarding three Build-Transfer (BT) infrastructure projects. These projects, totaling over 3,500 billion VND, include various roads and intersections connecting to the former Nha Trang airport area and the Ngoc Hoi intersection.

While some components, such as certain resettlement areas and overpasses, are partially completed or in temporary use, several sections remain unfinished. Delays have been attributed to the investigation of Phuc Son Group leadership starting in early 2024, as well as unresolved issues regarding the handover of defense-related land.

In late 2024, more than 200 investors and customers submitted petitions to Khanh Hoa provincial authorities, seeking solutions for the stalled projects and the management of land intended for capital recovery. Unfinished road sections have led to local concerns regarding flooding, dust, and traffic safety.
