Khanh Hoa implements talent attraction and innovation strategies

Khanh Hoa province is implementing comprehensive strategies to advance science, technology, and education. The provincial People's Council has approved a resolution to attract high-quality human resources in fields such as marine science, information technology, semiconductors, and nuclear physics. To incentivize talent, the province offers one-time support payments: up to 1.5 billion VND for professors, 1.2 billion VND for associate professors, 1 billion VND for PhD holders, 300 million VND for masters, and 250 million VND for bachelor's degree holders. Additionally, these professionals may receive supplemental income equal to their current salary for five years.

In tandem with talent recruitment, the province is developing a long-term innovation and startup ecosystem for the 2026-2030 period. The goal is to create a sustainable environment centered on innovative startups, aiming for high local innovation indices and specific entrepreneurship ratios within the population.

Educational infrastructure is also being prioritized to ensure equality. The Pi Nang Tac boarding school for ethnic minority students has officially opened following an 83.6 billion VND investment. The new facility includes 18 classrooms and 60 residential rooms, serving nearly 480 students in the southwestern region of the province.
